Detailed Khajuraho Orchha Tour Package Itinerary

DAY 1- Jhansi to Orchha( 18 Kms / 30 minutes )

Your Khajuraho Orchha tour package begins after you make your appearance at Jhansi Railway station. A taxi will take you to the hotel after you reach the Jhansi. You can proceed for your fort visit but after relaxing for a while in the hotel. The fort is located on the Island of Betwa River. In fort almost all the monuments are related to the Bundela Dynasty. The Orchha fort was created in the honor of Mughal Emperor Jehangir, at the when Jehangir was on the visit of the Bundelkhand Region so that the Orchha fort is known as Jehangir fort. The Orchha fort was built by using both Hindu and Muslim architecture. After this, you can visit the riverside where you can find memorials of the Bundela Kings & Royal family. You can visit temple-like Laxminarayan temple, chaturbhuj temple, and Ram Raja temple to attend the evening aarti. Then relax overnight in the hotel.

DAY 2- Orchha to Khajuraho ( 195 Kms / 04 Hrs )

Orchha is famous for trekking in the morning. After you cross the Betwa River you can explore the Orchha Wildlife Sanctuary and you will be allowed to do nature photography and also you enjoy the beautiful views of Orchha memorial. You also experience the river rafting there but only if the water is sufficient. After having breakfast you will be guided to be driven towards Khajuraho. After you make your appearance at khajuraho you can into a hotel and you can relax in the hotel. Khajuraho temples are available for visiting in the afternoon. These Khajuraho temples were built in the time of the Chandela Dynasty between the 9th to 11th centuries. The Khajuraho temples are also known as the group of temples or eastern groups of temples. The prominent temples of the Khajuraho are Khandariya Mahadev Temple, Laxmana Temple, Chitragupta Temple, Nandi Mandap, Vishvanath, and Varah Mandap. You can visit the SEL show which is worth watching. You can have rest overnight at Khajuraho.

DAY 3- Khajuraho - Jhansi Departure ( 210 Kms / 4 Hrs )

On the last day after breakfast, we will check-out from the hotel and head towards the airport/ railway station to catch the flight or board train for onward destination.
